Choose a knowledge task with a clear answer trail
Parallel AI describes agents that use connected knowledge and scheduled work. Zapier also documents agent and workflow capabilities, so agent access alone does not distinguish an entire category of tools.
For this pilot, choose a narrow question such as finding the current onboarding steps from an approved handbook. Prepare examples with known answers and references. Include an obsolete document to test whether the reviewer can detect a conflict rather than rewarding the longest response.
Create an inventory of sources: owner, update date, sensitivity and allowed audience. A document being easy to connect does not mean its contents should be available to every agent or every team member.
Keep reading and acting as separate decisions
List the actions the pilot may take. Start with producing a draft or a proposed task, then require a named reviewer to approve any external action. Use a test workspace when evaluating record creation. Avoid connecting an entire production account just to see a demonstration.

Before increasing autonomy, demonstrate that a reviewer can inspect proposed work and stop an unsuitable action. Measure review effort and the quality of the final task. An agent that produces more drafts than the team can responsibly approve may need a narrower scope rather than more integrations.
